Race Me

One of my very best friends, Anastasia, told me I should try running a half marathon about three years ago. I snorted and punched her and told her it would never happen. I told her I wouldn’t make it.

Carry me to the finish line, ya’ll!

And hey, look at me. I’ve completed a marathon and 8 half marathons. I’m borderline psychotic.

You are a SPEED. DEMON.

That is a lot of half marathons! Whatever, I still think I’m bad with my 5k šŸ˜€

Maybe you could stop posting today so I can stop getting distracted and actually get some work done at work. Thanks.

I keep seeing ads in the latest RW magazine for the Shamrock Half Marathon. I’m totally jealous and would love to run that race! We have the Shamrock Shuffle in Chicago but it is a mere 8K. Maybe some day it will be a destination race? šŸ™‚

Are you running the half or full? (I assume the Shamrock yes???). I’m running the half, but I’m staying around for the dad to finish the full (plus-take advantage of all the free booze and such ;)).

That looks delicious! The good news- cenord beef isn’t what Irish people use, so you can use ham instead. And the water ham’s boiled in is absolutely divine for cooking vegetables with.[]
