It’s happening. The Virginia Beach TidalWheel studio is running smoothly and ready for my departure, the new locations for our Richmond studios are set, and my new apartment is locked down (and riiiight by the mall… fantastic or stupid decision)?

Although the move isn’t permanent, it really hasn’t sunk in that I have to move yet. I can’t say leaving Virginia Beach during prime beach time makes me stoked, but I’m pretty excited about what Richmond may have to offer me bother personally and professionally.
I also got pretty new bedding, and my apartment has a walk-in closet. So there’s that.
I’m also pretty pumped to live near Colleen. She’s one of…. two(?) friends I have who lives in Richmond, and Clare now isn’t too far away. I already warned Brittany that I’m going to force her to be my new IRL friend, as well.
So, now I need all you Richmond-ites to tell me what is FANTASTIC in the area. Besides the up-and-coming TidalWheel trend, that is! I already have my sights set on an indoor rock climbing gym, and hoooolymoly you have no idea how excited I am for this. I had two birthday parties at one of those places. I think I’m going to start a Richmond bucket list of sorts. And exciting restaurants with really yummy vegetarian/vegan food. And the closest fro yo place to my front door, but we all know that’s a given.
Give me all your Richmond knowledge! And if you live in the area, “like” TidalWheel Richmond on Facebook, obviously.
In the meantime, I’m soaking up as much Virginia Beach time as I can. When I’m not working, I’m running, spending lots of time with friends and family, and (safely) enjoying the sunshine.
Oh! And I got a new car. It’s really exciting. I named her Serenity because she’s like a spaceship inside. If you watched Firefly, my fellow browncoats will get the reference.
And I made a vegan cookie cake.
Coming to you shortly needs to be a large recipe roundup of all my latest addictions (read: cookie dough protein balls, smoothies, and vegan baked goods).
That will happen.
