The people in my life sure know how to make me feel special.
Look at the sight I saw as I entered my office yesterday morning. I thought my heart was going to explode.
And my track kids were all too excited to have a birthday party instead of a 3-mile run.
My dear parents were in town for the night, so I rounded up my closest for a birthday dinner in Norfolk.
And a Skinny Dip dessert… duh.
Seriously, could I be more spoiled?
As for the birthday celebration, I was pretty predictable. Remember last year’s festivities?
Well, last Saturday night, we celebrated my birthday once again with some serious karaoke-ing, only at a slightly different venue.
I sang, danced, spent time with so many friends from different points in my life, and had a truly wonderful night.
Seth, on the other hand, has always been a karaoke king.
How I love my peanut. This year, she almost, almost karaoked!
I also danced with strangers. Because who doesn’t like making new friends while wearing boas and mariachi hats?

I’ve gotta say, I don’t even really like repetitive line dances such as the Cupid Shuffle. But on Saturday, I was feelin’ it. Maybe I’m 25 and senile.
I need a nap.
A great big thank-you to all who made my birthday so special. So far, 25 has been pretty great.
