No Chaps Here.

It’s the beginning of that season. The weather has changed, my skin is dry, and my lips don’t like getting chapped.

Dun dun duuun, ChapStick® to the rescue.

I’ve heard many people say “Oh, I’m so addicted to ChapStick®.” I am one of those people. I need it every time I finish brushing my teeth, and I put it on when I wake up, when I go to bed, and just about hourly during the day. I really need it while I’m running, too. No matter the weather, I slather it on before every run to keep “dry mouth” from chapping my lips. It’s obviously always a plus when it has some SPF in it, too.

I just tried ChapStick® Sport Ready, the newest product in the Active line, and ChapStick® Raspberry Crème, the newest product in the Moisturizer line.

I’m a little bit of a Goldilocks when it comes to Chapstick. Sometimes, they’re too dry. Often, they taste a little waxy. Generally, they can be too short-lasting. Thankfully, the Sport Ready and Raspberry Crème moisturizing Chapsticks both made my lips happy and moisturized. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be telling you about them. ;)

It goes without saying that taste in an important factor when choosing any lip balm. I applaud the ChapStick® brand for never creating anything that tastes like bitter wax. Both of these new varieties taste great and actually last on my lips.

The Sport Ready has SPF 30 and water-resistant protection for up to 80 minutes. It’s even got a handy dandy sport clip you can attach to a bag or keychain. Gimme dat.

The Raspberry Crème is made with 10 moisturizing ingredients and a luscious fruity flavor, lips will be left feeling soft and silky. ChapStick® Raspberry Crème delivers fruity hydration to your lips with ingredients like Aloe and Vitamin E and contains SPF 15 to protect from the sun’s UVB rays.

“Like” the ChapStick® Facebook Page for product information, new flavor notifications, and more. Weigh in, or just stay updated.

Let’s be honest: It’s a no-brainer. I’m a fan. And if your lips are feeling like mine are in this cold weather, you need to be one, too.

The ChapStick® product, information, and gift have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.

This is perfect timing! I was just complaining to someone about how chapped my lips are getting now that the cold weather is here and what I’ve been using seems to do absolutely nothing :( With chapped lips, I’ll end up wetting my lips a lot, and then that causes that reddish ring around my mouth, and I look like a clown. ChapStick to the rescue!
