This weekend is officially our final weekend of Aida, the Little Theatre of Virginia Beach’s current musical.

Devastating, I tell you.

One of the best parts about being in the supporting cast is the fact that I get to be so many different characters with several costume changes.
Sometimes, I’m a modern-day museum-goer.

Other times, I’m an Egyptian with style.

And then I’m an exotic dancer for the Pharaoh. Watch out, world.

But THEN, I get to be the only blonde Nubian to grace the stage.

Just pretend like I fit in reeaaally well.

And finally, I get to be a bridesmaid handmaiden.

Bridesmaids in Egypt have some sweet style.

It’s been a fun run and I know I’ll be missing the people, the music, and the usual dressing room antics.

I won’t quite be sitting around missing the stage, though. Guess what I have going on starting Monday?
…Any guesses?

If you’re in the area and want to see Aida before it’s all over, you can make reservations here.

The Nutcracker? Just guessing… lol.
Wow, this is awesome! This might be a stupid question… but is this a dance performance?

Nope! Aida is a musical.
But I dance quite a bit in it.
I would guess some kind of holiday production….
