September 18, 2012 — 5:00 p.m.

The classroom birthday attack

September 19, 2012 — 12:00 a.m.

The baking of vegan peanut butter cups (recipe courtesy of the Dainty Squid)

and vegan oatmeal cream pies (recipe courtesy of Made to Create)

September 19, 2012 — 1:45 a.m.

The super sneaky construction of the birthday balloon avalanche.

September 19, 2012 — 6:00 p.m.

The “you are totally still young” surprise 30th birthday dinner.

Our super sneaky birthday antics made for a pretty surprised birthday boy.

And, well,  Yiayia got in on the character acting, too.

We are setting a bad precedent for birthdays.

hahahahha yes! i live in DC and my birthday is in august.

i am totally kidding, btw…buuuuuuuut if you do happen to be in the DC area in august, I’m also a big fan of disney princess costumes :)
