Ever since starting fitmixer boot camp, I’ve had a certain breakfast of choice I keep recording onto the MyFitnessPal app. I cant help it; I’m a creature of habit.
Now, almost every morning when I wake up, I’m in the mood for scrambled egg whites and oatmeal. But I’m not just craving plain oats. You know they’ve gotta be better than that if I want oats every morning pre-workout in this heat.
I’ve got two secret ingredients in my oatmeal. One, a tablespoon or two of pb2. It’s heaven. But my breakfast isn’t complete without this guy.

Xagave: My little breakfast lifesaver. Seriously.
I love the taste of Xagave. It’s the perfect natural sweetener, and it sweetens up my coffee, oatmeal, plain yogurt, berries… anything… deliciously.
Can I also add that the people at Xagave (heeeyyy, Amy!) were kind enough to send me this stock after hearing about my lost bag after the Blend retreat? I was so happy I was able to get some Xagave back in my life after losing in in my suitcase.

I had toyed around with store brand agave nectar before trying Xagave, and I was a little underwhelmed. It seemed like a watery, less tasty honey to me. Xagave, on the other hand, is organic white and blue raw agave nectar has a thicker consistency and a great naturally sweet taste. It has no aftertaste, and it even has fiber and calcium.
I’m kind of obsessed, and I’m a little nervous about when this supply runs out. I feel like Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers. “I put a little bit in my hair when I’ve had a rough week. What do you think holds it up, slick?”

Plus, who doesn’t like getting their sweetener out of a sweet pump like that? It’s just more fun that way.
And now, a Life of bLyss reader will have the chance to win a 5 pound Xagave bottle with the pump. Can I get a YEEAAAH?
For those of you interested in purchasing some Xagave (which I can’t recommend any stronger), you can enter “LIFEOFBLYSS” at checkout for 20% off your order.
To enter to win a 5 pound bottle of Xagave, leave a comment telling me how you’re gonna use this awesome stuff.
For extra entries, feel free to do one or all of the following (and leave a separate comment telling me you did so):
- Follow me on Twitter

A winner will be randomly chosen on Monday, July 23. Good luck!

Um your oatmeal sounds awesome! I would definitely copy you and use it in mine every morning!
Okay, but first I need to know how you pronounce it. Is the X like a Z, like “Zah-GAH-vey”? Or do you pronounce the X like EXTREEEEEEME AGAVE?
Amy, from Xagave, here! Your first instinct was correct. Zah-GAH-vey!
agree with Jenny up there. how is it pronounced? and THEN i’d use it in my tea and oatmeal and yogurt, oh my!
I would use it in my overnight oats!
