Body Weight Workout

Time for some Friday fun… a workout you can do in the comfort of your own home (office? friend’s house? backyard? mall? whatever) without owning a weight!

I’ve combined some exercises from Teri‘s Xspin class plus some of my favorite moves to create a total body weight workout. Add weights if you wish – I like to add weights to my lunges, squats, and Russian twists.

The only thing we really have going on this weekend is a superbowl party. I like the food and the commercials!

I have a long run planned so fingers crossed it stays semi-not freezing in chicago so I’m not stuck on the treadmill for hours…

I just pinned this workout, then I looked closer because I’m probably not even close to strong enough to try and do a lot of those exercises. I gotta work out my upper body strength for sure! Thanks for my new “goal” workout!

Wow…that real burpee mile looks like pure and utter death. I didn’t watch the whole thing…do any of them throw up? Cause I totally would.

Thanks for the workout idea. I like to do at-home workouts on the weekends. Hitting the gym on a Saturday morning is simply too much to ask of me.

Burpees?! Really? Who r u trying to kil?! Just because I feel bad that your working all night I will attempt this brutality tonight! My boyfriend from wv is flyin in early in da morning and were going on a African safari tour (aka wildlife resort) and explorin nawlins dahlin! Thank you so much, I’ve done several of your workouts now and I love them… quick question on the squat holds and mtn climbers/russian twists, how long should we hold the squat and does each knee in/twist count as one for the mtn climbers & russian twists? Thank you! 🙂
