Guess who’s coming to play this weekend?
I’m pretty stinkin’ stoked for Colleen to come run, drink wine, eat, dance, and dance with me this weekend. We’re basically the same person.
I’m sure everyone around Virginia Beach will be wondering where I’ve been hiding my twin all this time.
Yes, Chloe, that’s this weekend.
A.K.A., Wine Fest Weekend.
A.K.A., “Alyssa’s other Christmas”*
Wine Fest has always been one of my favorite biannual events of the year. This will be my fourth go-around, and as I’ll have Colleen and LisaRee and the typical gaggle of overenthusiastic boys by my side, it’s sure to be a fun time.
There was the First Wine Fest. It was a tad chilly in the streets. Those blue lips aren’t even a result of the red wine we consumed.
Then there was the first May Wine Fest. The one at which I somehow ended up adorning a hat with plumage.
And then there was last October’s Wine Fest, where I had my other half join in the fun.
So, Colleen – I hope you’re ready for a weekend of serious activities.
I also hope you were serious when you said you don’t care if my house isn’t clean.
*“other Christmas” denotes Halloween and all Wine Fests.
