I first checked out B.I.C. Bands (Because I Can Bands) because I was so impressed with the company mission. The huge bonus was when I realized how AWESOME their product is – adorable headbands for fitness and fashion.

Sandy, creator of B.I.C. Bands, started her business to raise money for her first half marathon (and I know all about trying to raise money for marathons!). She has raised over $1000 for The Lukemia and Lymphoma Society through the sale of B.I.C. Bands, and she continues to give back through her profits.

How amazing is she!?

Once I tried out my B.I.C. Bands from my first order, I was so excited about the way they stayed on. The velvet in the inside of the band makes it stay put.. and that’s saying a lot with my bangs and all my flyaway mess I need to pull back when I run.

Remember when 13 miles was a “long run?”
I was wearing my favorite skinnie minnie sparkly black B.I.C. Band then.

Seriously.. I love B.I.C. Bands, and I wear one for every single run. I have four, and I’ll probably go buy three more right now. That’s how much I love them.

The glitter doesn’t fall off. And you can wash the bands by just taking them in the shower with you and washing them there.

And it gets better.

Everyone knows I’ve got a serious thing for sparkles, so all of mine are of the “sparkle” variety. My favorites are the skinnie minnie sparkles (I need to get the teal and brown ones next).

I want the thin black zebra BIC band.
I remember in junior high when wearing those strappy headband things were all the rage, but I could never wear them because they would fall off (I must have a weird shaped head?) so I would tie a knot in them to make them tighter and then they would give me a headache. Fail.

Oooh skinnie minnie in teal sparkle for me please! I’ve never been able to keep headbands on though. I don’t think my head is the right shape for headbands so I’m reluctant to spend money on another headband that promises to stay put.

I see them ALL over the blogs, and basically keep forgetting to order some until i see yet ANOTHER giveaway on another blog…so I would love to use them when I eventually get back to running (the only thing in life I procrastinate is RUNNING!)…So either way I have to jump on the BIC train!

Omg I would love to win this giveaway because I can’t find headbands that stay put on my super fine hair! Please please pick me I would pick the peacock skinny sparkle because I love that color and I love sparkle!
