Goooonna get ma-a-a-ried [and by we I mean Lisa-Marie].
Yesterday, someone [Lisa-Marie's sister] told me I’m a human jukebox.
It’s not the first time I’ve heard it. It won’t be the last. I’m always singing.
So… it makes sense that half of my post titles are songs, right? Right.
ANYWAY, back to the post title. Life is nutso. My head may spin off. I’m off to pick up Lisa-Marie’s gown from the bridal salon at lunchtime, then I’ll bang out a 6-miler post-work, and then I’ll be in the midst of more wedding prep before dinner tonight.
Did I mention it was also the bride’s birthday last night?
Yesterday, we completed all the favors. Godiva chocolates, filler paper, and seashells in a black box wrapped in a black bow. They’re awesome, they’re tasty, and they’re beachy.
Mom: don’t comment on the fact that you can probably tell which bows are mine.
Since I’m a crazy bridal party maniac right now, I’m giving you a look at some more Bachelorette Party pictures. You’re welcome.
I’m not enlarging this picture so you can see me in all my apron/bikini glory. Baking cupcakes post-beach day and pre-party is not the best idea for put-together efficiency.
They’re supah easy. Go look here for her recipe.
I was going for the cone-bra Madonna era.
I had big plans for these cupcakes, but time constraints didn’t allow those plans to quite materialize.
By the way, I never stray from the Diet Mountain Dew cake route. Mix a box of cake with a can of Diet Mountain Dew (or for chocolate, Diet Dr. Pepper… or any diet soda that matches in color), and the cake is so moist and much lower in fat.
Do it. All you do is pour the diet soda in the cake mix instead of oil, eggs, and/or water, and bake as directed. So easy, so delicious.
The bLyss Designs inventory stayed put and added a little somethin’ somethin’ to our deco, too..
(Way better than Bethenny’s stuff. Yeah, I said it.)
And if you think I let go of that weenie straw once all night, you’re just plain wrong.
There’s a time and place for it, and that’s quite obviously not here.
The countdown shrinks to TWO DAYS today… I think Seth and LM are ready.
